Renessen’s EXTRAX™ corn processing system will allow a standard dry-grind ethanol plant to produce several products on site, including food grade corn oil, ECORN™ a nutrient-rich feed ingredient, a highly fermentable ethanol medium and EPRO™ enhanced distiller dried grains with solubles (DDGS).

The EXTRAX™ processing system is being tested in 2007 at a new pilot plant operating at Cargill’s BioProcessing Center campus in Eddyville, Iowa.

Renessen expects to begin to broadly license the processing technology in 2007.
